About the Organisation

MAMAS Alliance is part of Kinderfonds MAMAS—a reputable Dutch NGO founded 25 years ago at the personal request of Nelson Mandela. Kinderfonds MAMAS funds 34 grassroots NGOs across South Africa, each dedicated to empowering vulnerable children, youth, and families to reach their full potential. These organizations support children throughout their journey, from birth to their first job. MAMAS Alliance serves as the network through which these NGOs share knowledge, initiate programs, and, importantly, raise additional funds from South African corporates.

About the Job

The CSI Partnerships Manager plays a pivotal role at the MAMAS Alliance Secretariat, driving strategic partnerships that enable sustainable impact for grassroots NGOs. Reporting to the Managing Director and employed by Kinderfonds MAMAS, the incumbent will lead dynamic fundraising initiatives by cultivating relationships with corporates, foundations, and trusts, while ensuring full compliance and excellence in proposal development and reporting. Beyond fundraising, this role is central to strengthening partner NGOs through hands-on mentoring, coaching, and masterclasses that build long-term fundraising capacity. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder and strategic thinker who embodies the spirit and DNA of MAMAS — approaching every partnership with professionalism, fairness, respect, and transparency, and working collaboratively to create meaningful, lasting change.
