The organization offers residential facilities, parental training programs, and the SHINE™ program to empower young individuals with the skills and values needed to thrive. Girls and Boys Town conducts longitudinal research to track the impact of their care interventions and contribute positively to families, communities, and the economy.

About the Job

The Regional Fundraising Manager will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of fundraisers, engaging with major donors, partnering with strategic partners to raise funds, communicating the organization's mission and impact, fostering philanthropic relationships, managing annual giving campaigns, and supporting charities in fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Regional Fundraising Office

  • Achieve results against set targets and monthly budgets

  • Initiate and Build Relationships (face to face, networking, events)

  • Provide Leadership and Supervisory

  • Implement Policies

  • Engage Regional Teams to identify Project for Funding

  • Building a stronger development team for the organisation

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)

  • Sales/Marketing/Fundraising Degree or Equivalent

  • Code 08 driver's license, with own transport

  • 10 Years + Working Experience in Sales/Fundraising/New Business Development/CSI/ESG/Philanthropy

  • 5 Years + Middle Management experience in leading teams

  • Financial Management/People Management/Sales Management

  • Excellent Written, interpersonal and verbal communication Skills

  • Proven track for Sales Drive, Sales Management, Fundraising and Customer Relationship Management

  • Ability to opportunistically take advantage of funding possibilities

  • Have proven skills to work with and motivate staff, along with the National Fundraising and Resource Mobilisation Officer

  • Computer Literate - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Software Systems

  • Target Driven, result oriented and good listener
